B2ST's Hyunseung and Junhyung attempted aegyo, much to the embarrassment of their members.

On the upcoming August 28th broadcast of MBC Every1's 'Weekly Idol', MC Jung Hyun Don got the two members who normally show the least aegyo to give fans what they want.

Hyunseung shared, "I am in charge of the charisma in the team... I've never shown my aegyo since my debut", to which MC Jung Hyung Don spoke on behalf of fans, adding, "The fans want to see you do it."

Junghyung also couldn't control his laughter while carrying out his own aegyo, leading the members to cover their faces from the extreme awkwardness.

With just few days away before its much awaited comeback, B2ST has unveiled individual teaser images for their upcoming “Shadow” comeback.

Revealed through the boys’ agency Cube Entertainment’s official Twitter and Facebook accounts, the photos show the beastly boys dressed in dark colors as they confidently showcase their charisma in various poses.

“Shadow” will be a dance song with lyrical music, telling of one watching a loved one fade away like shadows disappear when lights goes off.

 B2ST’s Junhyung and the boys of BTOB are coming back with the second OST piece for Mnet’s new music drama ‘Monstar’.

On May 24th, Junhyung and BTOB’s Minhyuk, Sungjae, Changsub and Hyunsik who star as members of the idol group ‘Men In Black’ in the drama, will release their latest OST single “After Time Passes”. The song is the remake of ‘Monstar’ music director Postino’s 2006 single.

The group along with Ha Yeon Soo recently released the drama’s first OST single “Past Days”. The second OST piece “After Time Passes” will be released online on May 24th.

Three Ways Celebrities Deal With Trolls

How do they deal with the hate from the haters?

Celebrities get a lot of love from their fans. Sometimes, the love is inappropriately expressed and cause awkward situations that leave the celebrities scratching their head in confusion. The superstars sometimes receive the adorning of their fans to the point of exhaustion – yet love and adoration isn’t the only kind of attention that they get. They receive countless hate mails and messages from the anti (anti-fans, trolls) whose intent is to hurt the celebrities targeted. One might say that all celebrities are destined for both love and hate.

Then how do the celebrities deal with the anti-fans? It really divides into three types of response.

The first response is “ignoring.” Some celebrities choose to completely ignore social media and the Internet. It might be the wisest option of the three – if only it was possible – because there really is no way of getting hurt if there is no way of accessing the hurtful messages. The problem is that most celebrities are driven by curiosity as to the public’s opinion about themselves. This response is usually suggested to the celebrity by the management company, since it really goes against the celebrity’s desire to access social media for a self-gauge.

One management company employee commented: “When a celebrity member of our company is wrapped in a scandal we recommend that they completely shut themselves out of the internet and news media. Most celebrities take each and every criticism to heart and have a hard time dealing with mass hatred.” He added, “There is no way to completely avoid those things, but it’s the best method for them and for us, the company, in dealing with the matter.”

The second response is “colliding head-on.” Some celebrities read every negative comment from the anti-fans and publish a well-informed and thought-out response. They tend to write sincere letters from the heart, relieving the stress of being silent about the matter at hand. They usually communicate via an alias.

These responses are also sometimes followed by asking the court for an injunction or a cyber restraining order against the matter discussed. Anti-fans are made aware of potential fine and jail time that will come with each negative comment. They are often successful at deterring negative comments.

The third response is “enjoying.” All attention, both bad and good, is enjoyed by some celebrities who maintain that “all publicity is good publicity.” Of course, it is never a good feeling to be publicly called out in hatred, but some celebrities have the well-mannered nature to laugh it off and take it in stride, saying that they would rather be hated than be forgotten.

This is why sometimes negative comments and anti-fans and trolls are seen as a possible “noise marketing” tactic for management companies. Some rookie celebrities are known to gain fame and attention by drawing negative responses from the Korean public. Many management companies are constantly looking for something to make an issue of, often tapping into their friends and partners inside the newsrooms to stir up the pot of fortune for the newest up and coming artist.

Junhyung and BTOB’s Minhyuk, Sungjae, Changsub and Hyunsik who star as members of the idol group ‘Men In Black’ in the drama, as well as Ha Yeon Soo will release their own rendition of Yoo Jae Ha’s “Past Days”.

In the drama, “Past Days” will be introduced as a song that Ha Yeon Soo sings with ‘Men In Black’, and it is a very important song that will open the first episode of the drama. The song will be released on May 17th.

[News] 'Super Junior-Girls' Generation-2AM' All Idols Gathering On September 1

2AM, Super Junior, Girls' Generation, MBLAQ, and other top idol groups will be visiting Inchon all together on September 1.

According to a few representatives, top idol groups will be attending the '2013 Inchon K-pop Tour Concert' being held on September 1.

The MCs of the concert will be Yuri and Tiffany of Girls' Generation, and total of 20 idol groups including 2AM, FTISLAND, miss A, ZE:A, Girl's Day, B2ST, Girls' Generation, Super Junior, SECRET, SISTAR, MBLAQ, KARA, and T-ara will be performing.

This tour concert, being held for the 5th time since 2009, is being used to promote the city to tourists from oversea countries.

The concert is free and the tickets can be purchased online from August 9 online (www.yes24.com).

The all-star lineup for the convention-ending concert and first-ever US taping of M! Countdown made headlines across the country, especially following the announcement that hip-hop legend Missy Elliot will be taking the stage alongside some of Korea’s finest performers.

With this year’s KCON drawing so much international attention, and more and more collaborations between Korean and American artists becoming a reality, Fantasy K-Pop Collab is beginning to seem like less of a fantasy and more like a dream come true.

One of the hottest acts planning on appearing at KCON is 2AM, the four-member R&B ballad group under the tutelage of JYP Entertainment CEO and K-Pop mastermind Park Jin Young.

Teen Top will making a comeback with mini album ‘TEEN TOP CLASS’. The mini album contains a total of six tracks with “No Joke” being the title track, which will be a dance tune with strong beat and sound that matches well with a club.

Vocal trio group Honey-G, who rose to stardom through audition program ‘Superstar K4’, released the full music video for the track “My Love” ahead of their upcoming first album.

“My Love” music video garnered much attention for featuring Lee Hyori and Busker Busker’s Brad. Honey-G performed the song along with their not-yet-released title track “Fool” for the first time in a showcase at the IFC Mall in Yeouido in Seoul on August 20th.

In the ‘Superstar K4’ last year, Bae Jaehyun and Kwon Taehyun were in a group called Honey Brown, but at the advice of the jury they teamed up with Park Jiyong and rechristened themselves Honey-G.

Actress Koo Hye-seon is coming to the Cheongju International Craft Biennale, both to promote the festival and exhibit her art.

Koo made the announcement at a press conference in central Seoul for the eighth edition of the biennale exhibition, which runs in the North Chungcheong city this year from Sept. 11 to Oct. 20.

About 60 Korean and foreign artists will participate in the show, including renowned names Joana Vasconcelos, a Portuguese installation artist who uses textiles, and Dale Chihuly, an American glass sculptor.

Koo, best known for her lead role in “Boys over Flowers” in 2009, was designated one of two honorary ambassadors for the biennale in May. She will participate in a special exhibition featuring 20 celebrities, designed to help promote the exhibition. Other participating celebrities include actor Ha Jeong-woo and singer Lee Sang-eun.

Koo, a versatile 28-year-old, has presented paintings and drawings in several exhibitions in the past few years, while also directing a film and writing fiction.

Fashion designer Lie Sang-bong, the other promotional ambassador for the biennale, also participated in the press conference. He said he will hold a special fashion show to celebrate the invention of hangul on Oct. 9, celebrated in Korea as Hangul Day.

The theme of this year’s biennale is “Something Old and Something New”, as the event looks to balance novelty and practicality, said Director Park Nam-hee at the press conference.

Marg Helgenberger of CSI taped her last episode in the middle of season 12, amid bargaining and season changes. “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation” is bringing Marg Helgenberger back for a huge milestone for the popular series. Marg Helgenberger will return to the CSI for its 300th episode.

The network said Marg Helgenberger will return to CSI as her original character, forensic scientist Catherine Willows, to help the CSI team break a cold case that has had them baffled for more than 10 years.

According to CBS, Marg Helgenberger’s CSI episode will have the team probing a murder in the home of a former casino mogul who has gone into seclusions. The CSI team considered him a suspect in a similar crime in 2000.

Marg Helgenberger’s CSI last episode happened last year after “CSI” had been on the air for twelve season. Marg Helgenberger CSI Last Episode aired on Jan. 25, 2012 and was titled “Willows in the Wind.”

Marg Helgenberger was one of CSI’s original stars.

Don McGill, executive producer of CSI, said “We were just really excited to have Marg come back because, obviously, she’s such an important part of the history of CSI. And she was super excited. It was kismet!”

McGill said The CSI episode will focus on a cold case that “takes our characters back to the beginning. They have to investigate a murder with the same M.O. and the same suspect from 14 years ago.”

Marg Helgenberger’s CSI will happen partially in flashback. McGill explained “We will flash back 14 years to seminal moments that show Catherine, Nick (George Eads), Sara (Jorja Fox), Greg (Eric Szmanda) and Ecklie (Marc Vann) as they were, [and how that] informed the evolution of the characters now. It’s going to be a really fun episode, very emotional, that honors 14 years of CSI.”

“CSI” will return for its 14th season on Wednesday, Sept. 25, at 10 p.m. ET. The Marg Helgenberger-starring 300th episode will air Oct. 23.

"Our city has discussed with the related agency about JYJ's appearance on the event," read a Twitter post from the Incheon Korea Music Wave 2013 organizers on Tuesday.

The Incheon Development and Tourism Committee announced today that K-pop trio JYJ, the official ambassadors for the 2014 Incheon Asia Games, will not perform at the Incheon Korea Music Wave 2013 concert due to conflicts between management companies.

“Our city has discussed with the related agency about JYJ’s appearance on the event,” read a Twitter post from the Incheon Korea Music Wave 2013 organizers on Tuesday.

“Unfortunately, JYJ couldn’t join this time due to conflict of interest between entertainment management companies. We plan to have JYJ included in the future events hosted by the 2014 Incheon Asian Games Organizing Committee and its overseas promotions.”

Earlier this month, Song Young Gil, the mayor of the city of Incheon, tweeted that as much as he would like JYJ to perform, South Korea’s Munhwa Broadcasting Corporation (MBC) has control over who performs at Incheon Korea Music Wave 2013.

“I also want JYJ to perform, but I heard from the Development and Tourism Committee that the lineup is decided by MBC, who are the producers,” Song wrote on August 7.

The mayor promised to look into JYJ’s exclusion from the event, which is being held at the at Incheon Munhak World Cup Stadium in Incheon, South Korea on September 1, with the Development and Tourism Committee and the Asian Games Organizing Committee.

The bill at Incheon Korea Music Wave 2013 is a virtual who’s who of K-pop boy bands and girl groups, with 20 acts including 2AM, A-JAX, B.A.P, BTOB, EXO, F.T. Island, miss A, ZE:A, Girl’s Day, BTS, BEAST, Boyfriend, Girls’ Generation, Super Junior, SECRET, SISTAR, MBLAQ, KARA, T-ara, and TEEN TOP.

On August 6, a representative from JYJ’s record label C-JeS Entertainment remained optimistic that the Tourism Committee would change their mind.

“Instead of making rash decisions, we’ll be waiting for the organizing committee’s final position,” the C-JeS rep said.

“We have recently made a formal objection on the matter. The committee had misunderstood because the Incheon Development had told them and Tourism Committee that JYJ had rejected the offer. We straightened out misunderstandings and said that we were never even asked.”

The rep pointed out the fact that the Incheon Development and Tourism Committee is planning on rolling out a major promotional campaign featuring JYJ in September.

When the class of 2013 at South Korea’s Kyung Hee University holds their graduation ceremony on Wednesday, two of the students accepting degrees may have a leg up on other members of the music department, when it comes to creating a career in their selected field.

Kyuhyun of the 12-member K-pop boy band Super Junior and Kim Yeon Ji of the South Korean girl group SeeYa, who disbanded in 2011, will both be receiving degrees from Kyung Hee University’s Department of Post Modern Music.

Kyuhyun claims the time he spent enrolled in the university meant more because he didn’t use his celebrity status to get accepted.

“If I entered college with special admission as a celebrity, I could’ve attended school comfortably,” Kyuhyun said, according to the website allkpop.

“However, I passed the national college entrance exam and got accepted into the school with difficulty, so I have a lot of attachment to it.”

The 25-year-old Super Junior singer, whose real name is Cho Kyu Hyun, described his college experience as rewarding.

“If I had a class, I would sleep over my friend’s house near the school and attend the class in the morning and study at night,” Kyuhyun recalled.

“As I attended school, I learned a lot, and my studies became a big help to my career as an artist. I can breathe a sigh of relief once I graduate, but it’s sad that I would have to leave my classmates who always helped me out.”

But the star won’t be leaving those Kyung Hee University pals just yet. Kyuhyun will reportedly begin graduate school there next month.

Meanwhile, the singer’s Super Junior bandmate Kangin opened up in the most recent issue of the magazine ARENA HOMME+, on newsstands this week, about not quite feeling his age.

“I thought I would become an adult when I turned 30, but it feels like I’m still a 20-year-old boy,” Kangin said. ”I try to be more careful when I say or act something,”

Last week, Super Junior performed a 27-song set for 30,000 fans at Taiwan’s Taipei Arena, including the group’s hits “Sorry Sorry”, “BONAMANA”, “Mr. Simple” and “Sexy, Free & Single.”

The band’s Chinese subgroup Super Junior-M also performed.

Super Junior has held the number one spot on Taiwan’s KKBOX music chart for more than two-and-a-half years.

Thirteen of Korea’s hottest actors and musicians recently took part in the special edition of fashion magazine ‘Cosmopolitan’.

In celebration of its 13th anniversary since its launch in Korea, the fashion magazine is releasing a special edition in September featuring pictorial and interview of 13 hottest male celebrities including 2PM’s Taecyeon, Kim Ji Suk, Kim Woo Bin, Verbal Jint, 2AM’s Jinwoon, B2ST’s Junhyung, Park Ki Woong and more.

Revolving around the theme of ‘hidden confessions’, each male star revealed what their secrets are. Taecyeon started off by saying that he cannot look in the eyes or have a conversation with a person he likes. He also revealed that he wants to propose to his future bride in Venice’s Plaza San Marcos.

Actor Kim Ji Suk said he was really mesmerized by the beautiful women when he recently passed by Gangnam station, adding that Korean women are the prettiest in the world. Kim Woo Bin also revealed his ideal type and talked about his past relationship.
